The Energy and Communities Network (RE&C) sent contributions to the Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) under Public Consultation No. 154/2023, which deals with the Energy Development Account (CDE) budget proposal for the “Light for All” Program in 2024.

The main suggestions presented were:

a) Inclusion of the balance and analysis of the CDE for the 2023 financial year, and, if relevant, of previous years that have an impact on the 2024 budget proposal;

b) Details of the actions already implemented and the results obtained that have contributed to correcting and/or improving the estimation process, the information provided by the distributors, and the financial execution related to the CDE 2024 proposal;

c) Indication of the measures that will be adopted to improve the estimation process, the sending of information by the distributors, and the financial execution in the CDE's budget proposals for 2025.
